Build Asia, the Karachi International Building Materials Exhibition in Pakistan, is held every year. At present, there is a shortage of 270,000 housing units per year in Pakistan, and there is a backlog of about 7 million units. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has specified several policy guidelines under the "Housing For All" project to initiate housing programs for government employees and provide infrastructure to support housing development programs.
